Of Course — I prayed –

Of Course -- I prayed --Of Course — I prayed –
And did God Care?
He cared as much as on the Air
A Bird — had stamped her foot –
And cried “Give Me” –

I had not had — but for Yourself –

She lay as if at play

She lay as if at playShe lay as if at play
Her life had leaped away –
Intending to return –

In Seamless Company –
